Tiny Blessings:

In honor of my 60th year, I challenged myself to create 60 paintings plein air as a way of learning to paint from the live landscape. I also wanted to share the positivity I feel at having reached this landmark - and encourage others to feel grateful for the process of aging. We made it! We are battered and beaten perhaps, but we are resilient. We are wise.

Each of these pieces has a special message written on the back - a blessing specific to each piece. Find the one that resonates with you —or gift one to a friend who needs to hear one. Each piece is unique and one of a kind.

These pieces are all 7 x 7 inches, unframed. They are created with oil paint and cold wax medium on Arches oil paper. I’m uploading them in batches until I reach 60 pieces, so come back soon to view the rest.

The idea for this series originated at the request of a gallery in Breckenridge, where they sold for $150 each, unframed (and without tiny blessings!). I will discontinue this size after this run of 60 so once they’re gone, they’re gone!
