Sangre de Cristo in Blue Ink Drawing

$175.00

This piece is an depiction of the primary mountain that looms over the San Luis Valley just behind my home.

The mountain is part of a range of several 14ers, named for the reddish hue that descends each evening at sunset.

Inspired by the Sangre de Cristo mountain range, the artwork conveys the majestic aura of the 14,000-foot peaks surrounding the San Luis Valley. The monochromatic sketch is my way of capturing the moods of the mountains to be further developed into my paintings.

Sangre de Cristo in Blue arrives framed and ready to hang.
