Lakeside at the historic Broadmoor Hotel is a great place to spend a hot summer afternoon. With the cooling breezes and the clear blue lake, this is a peaceful environment to remember.
I painted this piece during the annual plein air event at the Broadmoor Hotel and Galleries over a weekend in July 2025. It was an honor to be invited to participate, and to spend the weekend painting on the beautiful grounds of this historic hotel.
