Dawn and dusk in the mountains often bring a wild array of pinks, purples and oranges. The purples are my favorite. In Lavender Reflections, I try to capture the fleeting experience of sunset, when the light dims just slightly right before the daylight disappears. It is a moment of transition, when we bring awareness inward to prepare for nighttime and sleep. My intention in this piece is to share an experience of calm and restfulness.
