In the valley where I live, it is said that "the veil is thinner." What does this mean? The way I feel it is an experience of a living awareness - or a life force that permeates daily life. I think this force is present everywhere on the planet, but that in certain places it is easier to access simply because there are fewer distractions. The spaciousness of the San Luis Valley is overwhelming, and sometimes people need to confront their fear of this space in order to be here. But I find the spaciousness and the presence calming, like a benevolent companion supporting and accompanying me in my daily activities. Mystic Reflections is my attempt to share a glimpse into the process.
