Silent Hills | oil | 16 x 20 in

$1,200.00

Every night when the sun sets in my small mountain town the landscape takes on a silent glow. For about 10 minutes the sunlight bathes the earth with its warmth and glory before setting for the night.

I try to convey the sense of spaciousness and peace of the immense valley where I live, and to depict that space in a friendly manner, if you will, rather than as a purely desolate experience.

That kind of space can feel lonely at times, but it can also create an enormous sense of freedom.
