Evenings when I am in Crestone, I love to sit on my deck and watch the sun set over the San Luis Valley. Every day it’s a new show. Pink and orange light mixes with clouds and rock and blue sky.
Sunset is an attempt to get up close and personal—right where the action is happening. The piece captures a quiet moment of transition, where the earth and sky come alive with the shifting colors of twilight.
